It's dark in Denver, and right this second the sky is exploding with fireworks in what I can only assume is a celebration of the arrival of the Sustainable Living Roadshow. Not sure that red, white and blue sulfuric bursts are the most eco-friendly way to hail us, but I admire the enthusiasm. I doubt it has anything to do with the Democratic National Convention, which you may have heard, is also in town.

It's dark in Denver, but we've been greeting by a fleet of warm hosts, several Toms and a lovely Susan Powers. We've been greeted with local produce: right this second Veronica (our graphics goddess) is standing outside Priscilla Bus yelping with joy at the lettuce and green onions. Stephanie (Sporrior) is cooking up some people fuel: quinoa and veggies, smells delicious even if the onions made the whole dang bus cry. It's dark in Denver, but we're here, we've showered, and we're about to eat. Explosions of light indeed.
